Annual BESSY@HZB User Meeting
The 17th BESSY@HZB User Meeting will be held on 3-4 December 2025 at the WISTA Event Center in Adlershof, Berlin, to foster exchanging scientific knowledge, presenting research achievements, and facilitating new collaborations for the user community of BESSY II synchrotron resources at Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin (HZB). AMT showcases Vac Coat vacuum coating systems in the exhibition section of this event.
In these meetings, researchers from academia, research institutions, and industry will present outstanding results of research conducted at the HZB facility over the past year in the form of plenary talks, scientific highlights, a poster session, and a “Market Place of Innovations.” Future directions, including plans for transition to the BESSY III, will also be discussed.
In addition to the scientific section, the Market Place of Innovations at this event provides an opportunity for industrial companies, manufacturers, and suppliers of laboratory equipment and services related to synchrotrons, such as laboratory instruments, measuring devices, optical equipment, and HV and UHV systems suppliers, to introduce their products and services to researchers and users of BESSY II. This section plays an important role in connecting industry and research. AMT is also present at the exhibition, representing Vac Coat vacuum coating devices based on the physical vapour deposition method the participants at Booth No. 18.
