Plasma, Catalysis and Thin Films for Conversion Processes International Workshop
The International Workshop “Plasma, Catalysis and Thin Films for Conversion Processes” is scheduled for April 29-30, 2025, at the Feierabendhaus in Marl, Germany. This event aims to explore the integration of plasma technology and catalysis, focusing on their combined potential in various chemical processes.
Key Topics:
- Fundamentals of Plasma and Catalysis Technology: Understanding the basic mechanisms and interactions between plasma processes and catalytic surfaces.
- Emerging Applications: Exploring applications such as surface treatment and cleaning, CO₂ conversion, plasma pyrolysis, nitrogen fixation, and other chemical syntheses.
- Plasma Processes for Catalyst Preparation: Discussing methods for deposition of thin films and tailored catalytic layers using plasma surface engineering.
The workshop is designed for catalysis and plasma experts, material specialists, process engineers, machine and component engineers, as well as decision-makers in related technology fields. Participants will have opportunities for networking, engaging in panel discussions, and attending company tours, including a visit to Evonik. PhD and postdoctoral researchers are encouraged to present their work through poster presentations.
