The Metal and Material Physics (MM) group addresses the MM related topics like computational methods, materials for storage and conversion of energy, functional materials, interface controlled properties of nanomaterials, and microstructure design, and mechanical properties and alloy design, along with the topical Session: In Situ and Multimodal Microscopy in Materials Physics, in which various microscopy technique developments (e.g., scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, scanning probe and X-ray microscopy) are discussed.
