AVS Pacific Rim Symposium on Surfaces, Coatings and Interfaces
The AVS Pacific Rim Symposium on Surfaces, Coatings and Interfaces (PacSurf 2024) will take place on December 8-12, 2024, at the Big Island of Hawaii. This event, organized by American Vacuum Society (AVS), contains plenary, invited, and contributed presentations on various topics in the field of surface structures and applications.
The topics that are to be discussed during the conference include Biomaterial Surfaces and Interfaces, Nano and 2D Materials, Renewable Energy and Energy Storage, and Thin Films and Surface Engineering.
Several types of research will be presented under the above topics, such as thin film deposition and growth by magnetron sputtering, sol-gel coating, atomic layer deposition, and different characterization techniques like atomic force microscopy, plasma, and etching-related processes.
