S3IC Conference
The Single-Molecule Sensors and NanoSystems International Conference (S3IC 2026), is dedicated to the latest breakthroughs in micro- and nanoscale sensing technologies, held on January 19–21, 2026 in Rome, Italy. S3IC brings together researchers and innovators from around the world to explore advancements that enable detection and analysis at the single-molecule level, with applications across health, environmental monitoring, security, and fundamental science.
The conference highlights emerging classes of label-free micro- and nano-sensors capable of observing dynamic molecular processes with unparalleled spatial and temporal resolution, and aims to bridge diverse domains such as optical and electrical measurement methods, quantum optics, nano-fluidics, DNA origami, and synthetic molecular machines.
Participants will engage with recent researches on single-molecule spectroscopy, nano-electronics, quantum sensing, and computational approaches, which contribute to discussions on the future of ultra-sensitive sensor chips and technologies.
Vac Coat offers high-tech thin film deposition systems, like single/multi cathode sputtering systems (DST1, DST2-TG, and DST3), single/multi-source thermal evaporators (DTE, DTT), Pulsed laser deposition system (PLD-T), and carbon coaters (DCR and DCT), as well as hybrid coating systems, that enable fabrication of thin film sensors for cutting-edge experiments.
